Tour Itinerary

What can attendees expect to experience:  Attendees will experience an extensive tour of the newly opened (October 2014) single-stream MRF located at the St. Lucie County Solid Waste compound.  They will hear from County officials on converting the County over from dual stream to single-stream in May of 2014 as well as hear important facts such as county participation rates, number of households served and other important facts about the curbside recycling program as well as on the MRF itself.

In addition, County personnel will be on hand to answer any other questions about the landfill, C&D operation or baling operation there on the compound.

This facility is municipally owned and operated by St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners.
