  • Join a Team Member from the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa to tour the Resort and explore the deep commitment to Earth-friendly policies and practices at Hyatt. They will answer questions and detail specific green features at the Resort including one of the latest enhancements The ORCA, a machine that "digests" up to 2,400 pounds (over 1 ton) of food waste per day.
  • Join us for a tour of the Lee County Facility. he restoration of the Dona Bay ecosystem.
  • Get your boots on for a on the ground experience where you will tour a true organic compost manufacturing facility. Denise & Mark took over a defunct mulch yard 5 years ago and have transformed it into a successful horticulture recycling operation. You will learn about how they started with one location and now have 2-yard waste facilities, a landscape & garden depot and are getting ready to open their 3rd yard. Contact RFT if you will require ADA assistance. This tour is not ideal for those with ADA. – *Free.

Environmental Initiative Programs and Tours

Event summary:  Take an opportunity to hear talks on sustainable programs as well as attend an environmental tour from where you play to where you stay.

  • 3.      Everglades Wonder Gardens:  More information to come.   You must be a conference attendee or guest of a registered attendee to participate.  – *$10.00 per person.
  • 4.      Lee County Facilities Tour:  More information to come.  You must be a conference attendee or guest of a registered attendee to participate.  – *Free. 
*Transportation to all off site tours are on your own or via attendee carpool, unless noted otherwise.  Directions and additional information will be provided prior to the event and at the conference for those participating.
